How do I pay you to

We accept Checks,
Money Orders, Paypal Visa, Master Card, Discover card
(please note if paying by check or money
orders they are do by the 7th of the month)
Hosting accounts need to
be paid by the 7th of the month, IF NOT YOUR account will be
charged a $15.00
late charge on the 8th day with the new
balance you will have 2 days to get back with me. On the 9th
day your account will be suspend and
$25 charge will be added to restart it.
What does it cost to transfer a the domain name?
There is small fee for transferring your domain
to us, from us or InterNIC. Please note, we have heard of some
registry locations that do have a fee, so you would need to check
with who you buy your domain through to be sure.
What is your definition
of a virtual domain?
A Virtual Domain means having your own domain
(http://www.your-name.com) without having to install expensive
server hardware and software.
With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space,
however, you are still professionally represented via your own
personal domain name (www.yourname.com) and by your own personal
e-mail address (you@yourname.com).
What is a SUB domain ?
A sub domain is a web site that is hosted on our
domain names, but with your company name also visible. It looks
like this: www.yoursite.marketplacewebhosting.com/pagename
There is NO Internic fees for this, and we now
offer any hosting plan size on a sub domain site. The only
difference is the look of the URL. This is often called
non-virtual, and vanity hosting.
What steps do I need to take to set-up a virtual
domain at Marketplace Web- Hosting ?
Simply sign-up with us by filling out a our online
order form. We will then assist you in transferring an existing
domain or registering for a new domain to be placed on our
servers.
What is the time needed to make space on your
server available?
Space will be made available the next business day
and most of the time within the hour! Once an account is set-up,
an "Welcome E-Mail" will be sent to you including your user-ID,
password, and your IP address, as well as our name server
information to make domain transfers.
How long does a new domain name registration take?
Within 48 to 72 hours. You will know when it is active when you
can type in your URL (www.yourname.com)
in the browsers and your web site appears on the Internet.
How long does it a domain name transfer take?
Usually within 24 to 72 hours after request has been requested.
Some domain name transfers require you to confirm the transfer
with your domain registrar before it will take place.
Why is my domain name transfer request taking longer than 72
hours?
If your request is taking longer than 72 hours, please e-mail

problem. Technical Support will research the issue to determine if
further contact is needed with your Domain Registrar
Do I have a contract with you? How long do I have to stay?
Yes. We provide virtual web hosting services as described here
and elsewhere in our website. You agree to pay the listed hosting
fees for your particular hosting plan. See the User Agreement.
Contracts are month to month unless you have something different
in writing from us. If you pay by more than one month and we
remove your domain for any permitted reason, we are not obligated
to make refunds for the unused balance of the contract period. You
must give us at least 30 days advance notice of your intent to
cancel a hosting contract by using the Account

Are your severs
connected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? If not, when and why are
they disconnected?
Yes. They are always connected and always
monitored, 24-7 / 365 system support and monitoring.
What web server do your servers run? (Apache,
Netscape, or...?)
We use Linux servers and Apache server software.
What do Auto responders do?
An auto responder will send an automatic reply
back to the sender. Each email account you have with us, can have
an auto responder used with it, or you can create an email address
for nothing but an auto responder.
What programs can be used to access e-mail
(pine, elm, Netscape mail, etc.)?
All POP clients can be used-- any program which
downloads the files from our server onto your computer.
You can use mail user agents which run on our
servers (such as pine), with a special configuration. You can not
use IMAP programs.
Can I access my domain address with or without
the "www"?
Yes, you will be able to access the domain address
with or without the "www" in front of the domain name.
What is an email alias?
An e-mail alias means if you send mail to
Support@nowasconnection.info
, that address is alias to
whomever needs to receive it. It can be one person or multiple
people. However, you need it structured.
What do I do when my E-mail quits working?
Generally, the system is busy, so please wait at least 10 mins
and try again. If that dose not fix the problem E-mail
Support@nowasconnection.info. Make sure you put your
domain name, user id, and password in the e-mail so we can
identify who’s having the problem.
Do you have FTP and FTP
Anonymous access?
Yes, we provide both FTP and FTP Anonymous
access.
Do you have a limit on the FTP transfer?
You can update your pages an unlimited amount of
times, at any time you wish. However, if you use anonymous FTP for
visitors to download free files, then you need to ask us first. We
do not allow free download sites due to the server ram they use
when busy.
Do you use Netscape's SSL technology?
We use Apache SSL which is several times more
secure than Netscape SSL.
How many client sites
are put on each web server?
Do you move sites to different servers if a given server has a
high load? Is this monitored?
The number of sites per machine differs by
machine size, and traffic.
We do move clients according to demand. We keep the peak CPU load
below 50% on all machines.
Does each virtual server have its own log files?

Yes, a CGI-BIN is provided in every site. We
also have some system wide cgi scripts you can use, as well as

many other things. Shop Around The Mall gives you full CGI
access at no extra charge! You can write your own scripts, install
someone else's, or use one of our pre installed CGI scripts.

Do you charge additional fees for hosting a

No, Our customers if they wish, can have a
completely secure site, using our certificate, or they may install
their own at their site.

Yes you can.
May I promote my web site with bulk email?
No. Spamming is in violation of our service
agreement.
There are legal and ethical issues involved in mass mailing of
unsolicited e-mail. Any user of our services who has sent a large
number of unsolicited e-mail will have their account closed within
24 hours! Without a refund!!! There is also a fine
of $150.00 if we get fined from our internet backbone provider
